1.9 million passengers traveled with SAS in January. This is up 3.2 percent from the same month in 2019.

Total capacity increased by 1.5 percent. The cabin factor, a measure of how full the aircraft are, increased by 0.8 percentage points, while punctuality increased by close to 14 percentage points.

As a result of the outbreak of the Wuhan virus, SAS has decided to halt ticket sales to and from Shanghai and Beijing in China from January 31 to February 29.

– “Our passengers and employees’ safety is our top priority, and SAS continues to monitor the development in close dialogue with relevant authorities,” says Richard Gustafson, Director of SAS.
