Air traffic in Norway has fallen sharply since the Corona virus came to Norway, reports Avinor.

After the first case of the Corona virus in Norway was confirmed on February 26, air traffic fell by five percent for the rest of the month. The fall has continued in March, Avinor writes in a press release.

“We see a clear decline in air traffic at the beginning of March, and we expect this to continue as long as we have the situation with the Corona virus,” says Avinor’s CEO Dag Falk-Petersen.
