Lower taxes has meant that people have retained or increased purchasing power, a gratified finance minister and Progress Party leader Siv Jensen says .
It is very gratifying to see that lower taxes had a positive impact on purchasing power, Jensen says to the news service NTB after the Technical Calculation Committee Monday presented its preliminary report for 2015.
And for most people the real incomes of Norwegians last year, is of particular importance.
– The government has reduced the taxes in 2014 and 2015 and in 2016 as well. The estimates referred to by the Committee , reveals that the vast majority either maintained or increased their purchasing power in 2015, and it is clear that a lower tax level has contributed to this , Jensen says.
