For the first time Prime Minister Erna Solberg is at the top of the list of incoms among the members of the government . The reason is that the income of Foreign Minister Børge Brende has fallen sharply.
Brende has been at the top of the government’s income list for the last two years, according to the newspaper VG.
This is due to the him previously being a director of the World Economic Forum (WEF). In 2013 he made over 4.7 million kroner and in 2014 approximately 2.6 million.
Last year, however, his income dropped to 1.1 million kroner and, he was overtaken by the boss. Erna Solberg made 1.5 million kroner last year.
Agriculture Minister Jon Georg Dale had the lowest income of the ministers last year, with about 680,000 kroner, but then again, he was only minister for the last 14 days of the year.
Most of the government members had an income of around one million last year, according to VG.
