Prime Minister Erna Solberg sees signs of improvement in the Norwegian business sector, but notes that it still created fewer jobs than it needs.
– In my opinion, we are facing two challenges: One is that we must create more jobs and a better economic base for our welfare.
We should be smarter, greener and more innovative. The second is to ensure that as many as possible get into the workplace, said Solberg during her concluding press conference of the Cabinet representation on Wednesday.
She stated that the major source of inequality is about lack of work and believes the budget compromise will lead to more job creation, especially through investments in the transport sector.
