Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) recalled the climate goals for 2030 when she, on Wednesday, unveiled DB Schenkers new electric truck, which will be mass produced by Volvo.
The truck will be the first of 11 in Oslo and has a range of 170km, Yrkesbil.no writes.
The investment is a part of DB Schenkers Oslo City Hub, which was opened last year. The company then said that it aims to achieve zero local emissions in urban distribution in Norway by the end of 2020.
When Solberg unveiled DB Schenkers new green project, she praised the company and Enova for taking a new step into the green shift. The Prime Minister recalled the climate goal that 50 percent of trucks should be either battery or hydrogen powered by 2030.
