The world’s largest music streaming service, Spotify, will close their office in Norway. Employees in Oslo will be the first affected, reports the business website Børsen.

“We can confirm that we intend to close the office in Norway, as part of a natural consolidation process in a very mature market,” says Frida Berg, Nordic Communications Manager at Spotify, to Børsen.

They have not been informed if the closure has any practical significance for the power giant’s Norwegian customers.

In 2018, the company had seven employees in Norway, but today only two are listed.
