SSB: Norway registered an increase in petrol sales in July

In July, 114 million liters of car petrol were sold in Norway. That is an increase of 3.6% compared with the same month in 2020, new figures show.

The increase in sales of car petrol amounted to four million liters, according to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).

Sales of aviation fuel also rose in July. A total of 36 million liters of jet fuel were sold, four million liters more than in July 2020.

At the same time, sales of auto diesel have increased by 3% compared with the same period in 2020. Overall, the balance of fuel for road traffic has increased by 2.3%.
