A total of 700 million liters of petroleum products were sold in Norway in October this year, up 2.3% compared with October last year. The average price was over NOK 17 per liter.
According to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB), 77 million liters of petrol were sold in October – a decrease of 3%.
The average price for a liter of 95 unleaded petrol was NOK 17.37, which is 1.88% higher than in September. One year ago, the price was NOK 14.43.
Sales of auto diesel ended at 254 million liters in October, the same volume as in October last year. The average price per liter was NOK 16.28, which is 5.1% higher than last month. One year ago, the average price was NOK 13.20.
According to the SSB, the overall decline in fuel sales for road traffic amounted to 0.9% in October.
