The export price of fresh salmon last week averaged NOK 72.05 per kilo, an increase of 7% last week compared with the week.
Measured in quantity, 17,600 tonnes of fresh salmon were exported in week 2, according to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).
This was 2.8% less than in week 1, when 18,114 tonnes of fresh salmon were exported.
The price per kilo for frozen salmon last week was NOK 65.97, and a total of 523 tonnes were exported.
