The economists at Statistics Norway see a brighter future, and they believe that growth in the Norwegian economy will pick up.

This is shown in an analysis presented by SSB on Thursday. There is reduced decline in oil investment and higher growth in exports and business investment in the mainland, which, according to SSB, is expected to produce higher economic growth and lower unemployment.

Mainland growth is estimated at 1.7% next year, and just over 2% in 2018 and 2019, according to the  forecast.
