The recent increase in infection and new corona measures have led to increased concerns for the economy. However, most Norwegians don’t think these developments will hurt their personal finances.

The data was revealed in the Norwegian Corona Monitor survey by Opinion.

“New infection records and robust measures have made Norwegians pessimistic when it comes to the Norwegian economy, but most people have are not more worried about their own wallets,” senior adviser Nora Clausen noted.

In the survey, a total of 71,000 Norwegians have been asked about their views on the economic situation.

Only 4% believe that the financial situation will improve next month, while 42% believe it will remain unchanged.

When it comes to personal finances, on the other hand, the answers are almost unchanged.

A majority of 60% state that they are not worried about their personal finances as a result of the corona epidemic.
