Sweden’s economy continues to grow

According to seasonally adjusted figures, Sweden’s gross national product (GDP) increased by 0.9% in the second quarter of 2021.

According to Statistics Sweden, compared with the same period last year, Sweden’s GDP increases by 10.5%.

“The economy continued to develop positively in the second quarter, in line with the growth we saw at the beginning of the year,” economist Melker Loberg in the statistics agency noted in a statement.

The seasonally adjusted figures for June showed an increase of 2.5% compared with May.
