Switzerland had Europe’s highest price levels last year, the latest figures from Eurostat show. But Norway was most expensive on transport, alcoholic beverages and tobacco.

The latest figures from the European Purchasing Power Survey show clear geographical dividing lines in terms of price levels for household consumption and price level-adjusted GDP per capita in Europe.

The results are preliminary, and final figures for 2019 will be published in December 2020, writes Statistics Norway.
