Last fall Telenor spent NOK 230 million more than they normally do on advisers, consultants and lawyers .
Strategy work and Vimpelcom being accused of widespread corruption is the reason, according to Dagens Næringsliv.
There have been significant costs in the fourth quarter in relation to external consulting on Vimpelcom, Telenor CEO Sigve Brekke says of the explosive increase in costs.
Last fall was turbulent for Telenor, with both the Vimpelcom case and the commotion about the lack of female candidates when Sigve Brekke was appointed CEO.
On Wedensday Telenor presented a quarter that showed a net loss of 2.1 billion primarily due to a writedown in Denmark.- It has not affected the results at all. I think that 2015 as such and the fourth quarter not least, was very good, he says to DN.
