The new government quarter could be 4 billion kroner more expensive than expected
According to the newspaper Aftenposten, the total price for the new government quarter is close to NOK 40.7 billion.
That is an increase of NOK 4.2 billion compared to previous estimates.
The newspaper writes that Minister of Local Government and Modernization Nikolai Astrup (H) put forward multiple reasons for the price increase, including the increase in the price for the energy solution at the quarter and the higher cost framework of the July 22 center.
