The number of Ukrainian truck drivers on Norwegian roads has more than doubled in the last two years, according to a survey by the Transport Traffic Association.

Now, 15 percent of truck drivers crossing the Norwegian border are Ukrainian, versus seven percent in 2017.

Poland is still the largest group. 26 percent of truck drivers who cross the border into Norway are Polish citizens, according to the report published by the Professional Traffic Association.

The investigation further shows that Ukrainian drivers mostly have vehicles registered in Poland or Lithuania.

The survey has a total of 306 respondents and was conducted over two days in September 2019.
