Last week, the export price of fresh salmon was NOK 62.06 per kilo, an increase of 3.5% from the week before.
A total of 20,495 tonnes of fresh salmon were exported from Norway, which is an increase of 15.8% from week 11, according to Statistics Norway (SSB).
The price has been rising steadily since week 5, but it declined in weeks 10 and 11. The price last week, week 12, was 1.3% higher than at the same time last year.
In addition, 443 tonnes of frozen salmon were exported last week at a price of NOK 52.79 per kilo.
The price was 3.7% higher than the week before.
