The management of the Swedish telecom giant Ericsson presents Tuesday a new plan to cut costs. There will be talk of a downsizing that will affect thousands of employees.
It is Sveriges Television that reports that 3,000 to 4,000 employees in Ericsson will lose their jobs when Ericsson presents the new plan about cuts on Tuesday.
According to the channel, all or parts of plants in Kumla and Boras will be laid down. The Swedish Government has already been briefed on what will become Ericsson’s biggest savings plan ever.
With these cuts all production Ericsson has in Sweden is in reality gone, according to the channel.
