The Government stated goal is to reduce the share of money for road projects paid for by toll money. In spite of this, the revenue from tolls is going to increase in 2016,  the Minister of Transport, Ketil Solvik-Olsen (Progress party), confirms.

This is revealed in a written reply from the minister to member of parliament Tore Hagebakken (Labor) Thursday.
Hagebakken wanted to know the amount of toll money the government has collected toll since it took office in 2013, and how much it plans to collect in 2016.
9.5 billion in 2016
According to the response, the calculated toll revenues for 2016 are about 9.5 billion kroner. This is an increase from 2015, when the figure was at 9.2 billion. Since 2013, it has risen from 8 billion.
In his reply to Hagebakken, Solvik-Olsen reminds him that the previous coalition government envisaged a sharp rise in the toll in the proposed Plan for National Transport 2014-2023 .
