Two out of ten companies had their compensation application rejected during the pandemic.

Figures that P4 collected show that the Tax Administration and the Brønnøysund Register Center received 131,294 applications since the compensation scheme was introduced.

A total of 26,901 of the applications were rejected.

Joachim Dagenborg of the National Association for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises says that the smallest enterprises have not been covered by the compensation scheme.

“Simply speaking, too many have not been able to use the packages that have been set in place,” Dagenborg said.
