Wage growth and new jobs in the United States of America
250,000 new jobs have been created in the United States,and wage growth is the strongest in almost ten years.
This is shown in new numbers submitted by the US Department of Labor on Friday, just a few days before the important congressional election.
Boosting the economy is one of the most important issues for President Donald Trump.If more Americans feel he is doing a good job,it could affect the opposition to the Republicans in the election on Tuesday.
The new workplaces were created in October. At the same time,the Ministry’s figures show that unemployment rates are stable at 3.5%,the lowest level for 50 years.
The average salary in the third quarter is estimated to have been 3.1% higher than in the same period last year. The increase is the strongest in almost ten years.
