Norwegians’ confidence in Nav is falling sharply as a result of the social security scandal that was made public five weeks ago.

Nearly six out of ten respondents say they have lost confidence in Nav lately, shows the survey Kantar has made for TV 2.

3.5 percent of those surveyed have gained confidence in Nav, while 38.5 percent say that confidence is unchanged.

On October 28, it became known that since 2012, Nav has misinterpreted an EU regulation giving the right to bring social security benefits to other EEA countries.

974 people were interviewed in the survey, which was conducted in the period 25-29. November.
