On Friday, Drammen Municipality lifted the ban on serving alcohol at the city’s restaurants.
The decision became clear after an extraordinary meeting of the local authorities in Drammen, according to the newspaper Drammens Tidende.
The alcohol-serving ban in Drammen has been in force since November 9.
However, despite the local relief in measures, the national liquor regulations will remain in force – including, among other things, opening hours limitations and venue admission limitations.
In addition, alcoholic beverages can only be served alongside food.
