All NAV offices in Bergen will be closed on Tuesday after the stabbing attack on Danmarksplass on Monday.

NAV Vestland told the newspaper Bergensavisen that all five NAV offices in Bergen would be closed on Tuesday after the tragic incident on Monday.

“NAV Årstad will be closed all week. The police are working in the premises there,” communications consultant Birgitte B. Lygre stated.

The other offices are currently closed for the day. A new assessment will be made later Tuesday, the newspaper writes.

Two NAV employees were stabbed at NAV Årstad on Danmarksplass on Monday morning. A woman in her late 50s died of the injuries, while a woman in her mid-30s suffered lighter injuries.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and charged with murder and inflicting grievous bodily harm after the incident.
