According to the news agency Bloomberg’s ranking for July, Norway moved up ten places and is now at the top of the list that measures countries’ ability to handle the pandemic.
Last month, the United States was at the top. However, slower progress in the vaccination process contributed to the country falling to fifth place in Bloomberg’s “Covid Resilience Ranking” for July.
The July results were announced on Wednesday.
Vaccination coverage, few new deaths, and the opening of borders are highlighted as contributing to Norway’s top position.
Norway is followed by Switzerland, New Zealand, and France. The list has 53 countries on it, and Indonesia is at the bottom.
