The water level in the lake Randsfjorden in Innlandet is extremely low, at 0.83 meters, which is the lowest in at least 30 years.

“It is a completely unique situation, and we have not registered such a low water level in our statistics so far,” production manager Helge Bergstrøm in Ringerikskraft told the newspaper Avisa Hadeland.

The statistics go back 30 years.

On May 31, the water level in Randsfjorden was 0.83 meters. It is several meters lower than at the same time last year, and it will probably take almost 1.5 meters to increase the water level before people are able to put a boat on the water again.

The water level has only increased one centimeter since April 14.
