Helse Bergen eases corona restrictions at the maternity ward
Helse Bergen is easing the strict visit restrictions at the maternity ward and allowing partners to be present during ultrasound examinations.
Partners may now also participate in other types of activities at the outpatient clinic, Haukeland University Hospital wrote in a press release.
“This is something many people have been waiting for. Now we look forward to receiving both partners from next week,” clinic director Susanne Albrechtsen at the Women’s Clinic noted.
Local and national infection control measures have been the basis for the strict visit rules at the clinic.
“Now, it is justifiable,” the clinic director said, adding that the reopening is related to the vaccination of employees.
