Norway’s Royal House revealed King Harald was admitted to Rikshospitalet on Friday morning due to heavy breathing.
Coronavirus was ruled out as the reason behind the king’s breathing difficulties.
Support from Solberg and Støre
Both Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg and the leader of the Labor Party (AP) Jonas Gahr Støre wished King Harald a swift recovery.
“Many in Norway are thinking about this today, and I would also like to emphasize that we wish for the king to get well,” Støre said.
On Monday, Støre presented the Labor Party’s program for the next parliamentary term.
The presentation took place shortly after the news of the king’s hospitalization.
