A new reputation survey has revealed Norwegian consumer favorites during the corona pandemic. Vinmonopolet reigns supreme, while Ryanair and Wizz Air are at the very bottom.

After the corona year, Vinmonopolet is the company in Norway with the best reputation, according to findings from the PR agency Apelands.

Vinmonopolet got a score of 85 in Apeland’s survey, just ahead of Tine, who ended up in second place with a score of 84.

“It is the best confirmation we can get that our employees do a good job. For a nearly 100-year-old monopoly company, it is extra nice to see that customers are so happy with us,” Vinmonopolet CEO Elisabeth Hunter told Kampanje.

At the same time, the low-cost airlines Ryanair and Wizz Air ended up at the very bottom of the list, with the worst reputation.

Bottom of the list

Of the 50 companies in Norway that have been assessed, Wizz Air ended in 49th place, while Ryanair was at the bottom of the list – in 50th place.

Ryanair has long been among the companies with the worst reputation in Norway.

“These are airlines people do not like or trust,” Apeland’s CEO, Ole Christian Apeland, said.

NRK, Finn, and Coop also did well, while Ryanair’s competitors, Norwegian and SAS, did moderately well.
