The Ministry of Justice complied with the demand from the French authorities to extradite a 61-year-old Norwegian Palestinian who has been charged with terrorism in 1982, according to Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).
“The conditions for extradition are present. We now have a deadline of ten days to implement the decision,” senior adviser Annett Aamodt in the Police Security Service (PST) told NRK.
The man is accused of being behind a terrorist attack on a Jewish restaurant in Paris in 1982.
Six people were killed and 22 injured.
The man denies criminal guilt and says he was not in Paris in 1982.
His lawyer Ole-Martin Meland has appealed the extradition request.
