A total of 434 employees could be taken out on strike from Saturday if the mediation between Fellesforbundet and NHO Luftfart does not succeed.

The strike is likely to include Aviator Airport Alliance and Widerøe Ground Handling AS in Kristiansand, Bergen, Trondheim, Bodø, and Tromsø.

The Fellesforbundet union announced the information on its website on Wednesday.

On Thursday, the parties will meet at the office of the State Conciliator of Norway (Riksmekleren).

The deadline for reaching an agreement is midnight on Friday.

“We have a number of requirements. It is about taking care of wages and working conditions for the employees who are under a lot of pressure now,” chief negotiator for Fellesforbundet Trygve Skogseide told newspaper Nidaros.

The strike would include ground crews such as aircraft technicians, mechanics, and personnel involved with loading and unloading.
