Oslo registers 41 new corona infection cases in last 24 hours

On Friday, a total of 41 new coronavirus cases were registered in Oslo – five fewer than the day before.

On Thursday, 46 new cases were reported in the capital, while 43 new infections were reported on Wednesday.

According to statistics from the health service in Oslo municipality, the number of registered infections in the capital in the last 14 days amounts to 597. 

Men are in the majority of reported infection cases during the abovementioned period. 

Most cases have been registered in the age group 20-29.

The districts of St. Hanshaugen and Stovner have the most cases, with 156.6 and 135.1 infected per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively. 

The lowest infection rates are in the districts of Vestre Aker and Ullern with 12 and 34.7 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, respectively.
