On Christmas Eve, a police car collided with a taxi on Ring 2 at Fagerheimgata in Oslo. The three people involved in the traffic accident were not seriously injured.

The police car was on its way to assist another patrol on a mission when the accident happened.

“The taxi arrived in Fagerheimgata, and they collided in the middle of the intersection,” operations manager Tor Grøttum told NTB.

“The investigation is underway.”

There were two people in the police car, while the taxi driver was alone in his car. As the cars were badly damaged, everyone will be thoroughly examined in hospital.

“As you can see from the vehicles, there is some damage. The two police officers and the taxi driver have been transported to Ullevål, but it seems they are very well,” police task leader Brian Skotnes told NTB.
