The fear of infection is decreasing

Norwegians are less and less afraid of contracting the Coronavirus themselves, but still worried about their family. Shows on a new survey from the Norwegian Coronavirus monitor.

Since April 19, there are more Norwegians who are no longer worried about becoming infected themselves, than who are afraid of being infected. Now, as many as 38 percent – almost four in ten say ‘they are not worried about being infected,’ while about three in ten (32 percent) are ‘concerned,’ and 29 percent are neither.

Six out of ten say they are worried that someone in the family will be infected with the Coronavirus. 20 percent are not concerned and just as many answer neither. This is just as it has been since Opinion’s measurements began.
