The Inland Police District has been allocated NOK 898,690,000 for the operating year 2021. That is NOK 36 million more than last year.

Police chief Johan Brekke is happy with the increase but says that they are still in a demanding financial situation.

“We must implement lasting cost reductions and efficiency measures, at the same time as we must carry out our social mission and deliver on what is required from us,” he noted in a press release.

The Police District further notes that they will use the funding to develop key police functions.
