Those who become infected with the coronavirus in Trondheim in the future will have the opportunity to fill in infection tracking information that is important for the Municipality themselves.

Trondheim Municipality announced the information in a press release.

“In order to do the infection control work that we are required to by regulations, we are dependent on receiving information about infected people. We no longer have the capacity to obtain this information by telephone,” the Municipality wrote in the press release.

Those who need to provide more information to the Municipality will eventually receive an SMS from the Municipality with a link to a page where they can log in with their bank ID. There, they will have to answer some questions on a digital form.

“This way, the population can help provide us with the information we need for the infection detection work.”
