Due to the infection situation, Vindafjord Municipality in Rogaland will introduce local measures from next week.
All schools and kindergartens in the Municipality will operate at the “yellow” level. The use of face masks is already mandatory in the Municipality for employees in the health service.
For the rest of the population, there will also be stricter advice on, among other things, wearing a face mask and reducing the number of close contacts, the Municipality stated in a press release on Friday.
On Friday night, municipal chief medical officer Terje Kleiven commented on the corona situation, according to the newspaper Haugesunds Avis.
“We have registered 19 new cases through rapid tests, and these will be confirmed in the laboratory test over the weekend,” Kleiven said.
In the last week, 100 cases of infection have been registered in the Municipality through ordinary corona tests.
