After a 1:2 loss to Serbia on Thursday, Norway’s national football team managed to regain its composure for the match against Romania.

Lagerbäck’s team performed exceptionally on Sunday night during the Nations League match against Romania.

Erling Braut Haaland completed a hat-trick, while Alexander Sørloth also scored.

Martin Ødegaard and Mohamed Elyounoussi also played at a very high level tonight.

After the end of Norway’s European Championship dream due to the defeat against Serbia, Sunday’s victory gives the team hope of a group victory and promotion to the A-division.

A hat-trick from Haaland

Haaland scored his first goal of the evening in the 13th minute. After the first goal, both Ødegaard and Norway got a second wind.

In the 39th minute, Sørloth secured Norway’s second goal of the evening.

Haaland had several great chances at the beginning of the second half.

The Borussia Dortmund star scored his third goal after a pass from Ødegaard in the 64th minute.

Haaland completed his hat-trick just over a quarter of an hour before the end of the match.

With Sunday’s display, Lars Lagerbäck managed to consolidate his position on the team.

However, that does not mean that Ståle Solbakken’s name will not come up in the future.
