Erling Braut Haaland’s (Norway) hat trick in Champions League football sends him to the newspaper headlines in Austria. The striker was in top form in the 6-2 win over Genk.
Salzburg striker Haaland gets top marks on a scale of 1 to 6 in the Neue Kronen Zeitung player rating: – The goal monster struck again. Hat trick in his first CL match as a 19-year-old. It doesn’t get any better, Austria’s biggest newspaper writes.
Haaland has scored 17 goals in nine competitive matches this season. Prior to the match against Genk, the reputed website Transfermarkt had him at a market value of NOK 120 million.
That price probably jumped even higher on Tuesday night.
The Salzburger Nachrichten does not save on the superlatives either. The newspaper refers to him as the “team’s tip”: – Haaland continues his incredible dream run.
Sander Berge (Norway) had a tough night on the Genk team in the big loss.
