Christian Eriksen has posted a message on social media, thanking people for greetings from around the world. He promised to cheer on his teammates in the upcoming European Championship matches.

This is the first message Eriksen shared publicly since he suffered a cardiac arrest in Saturday’s European Championship match against Finland.

The medical team rescued Eriksen, and he is now – considering the circumstances – well.

“Hello everyone”

“Big thanks for your sweet and amazing greetings and messages from all around the world. It means a lot to me and my family. ♥️🙏

“I’m fine – under the circumstances. I still have to go through some examinations at the hospital, but I feel okay.

“Now, I will cheer on the boys on the Denmark team in the next matches. Play for all of Denmark

Best

Christian,” the 29-year-old wrote.

In the picture, the Danish football star is giving a thumbs up.

Denmark will play its next European Championship match against Belgium on Thursday. They lost the opening match 0-1 against Finland dramatically – the players had to go back and play less than two hours after Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest.
