Jakob Ingebrigtsen is part of the starting list for the 3000m at the Diamond League competition in Rome on the 17th of September. He might be joined by his brother Philip.

It mentions that Ingebrigtsen will be facing, among others, the local talent Yemaneberhan Crippa and the Australian trio Stewart McSweyn, Ryan Gregson, and Matthew Ramsden.

Filip Ingebrigtsen is also signed up for the event but will have to look at a calf injury to determine if he will be allowed to compete, according to Athletics1.

Hedda Hynne, who on Tuesday set a record of 1:59.15 at the Norwegian 800m, will run the same distance in Rome.

It is not yet clear whether Karsten Warholm will be seen in Rome. However, he will run the 400m hurdles at an Istaf competition in Berlin next Sunday.
