Larvik won Sunday’s Champions League clash with German Thuringian 28-20 and is in contention for a quarterfinal place.
Nora Mørk was the top scorer of the game with her nine goals. Goalkeeper Alma Hasanic did a great job in the second half and saved 60 percent of the home side’s attempts after the break.
Before this round Larvik, Baia Mare and Fleury all had six points. With the victory in Germany Larvik is now on eight points and holds the third place in the group. Rostov-Don is already group winners but Larvik still has a chance to become number two in the group and will be meeting Ferencvarosi TC coming weekend.
