Molde Football Club has been fined NOK 50,000 for two violations of the Infection Control Act, the Møre og Romsdal Police District reports.
The violations took place on Saturday when 14 people outside the team’s cohort visited an internal event.
On Monday, Molde strongly regretted the incident.
“The fact that Molde Football Club has contacted health authorities and the police after the event to prevent the harmful effects of the incident affected the size of the fine,” police attorney Anders Skorpen-Trøen in Møre og Romsdal Police District noted.
