Molde meets German Hoffenheim in Europa League round of 16. This became clear after Monday’s draw. Molde coach Erling Moe was pleased with the outcome.
“It could have been worse, and it could have been better, but a fun draw,” Molde’s Martin Bjørnbak told TV 2.
“We see opportunities,” Etzaz Hussain stated.
“I think it will be a tough one, but there are also opportunities. A team we can fight. A team that is doing well in Europe. A good starting point for us. It is possible, and that was what I wanted before the draw,” Erling Moe said.
There were hopes of pulling Manchester United and Ole Gunnar Solskjær, but United will face Spanish Real Sociedad.
Jens Petter Hauge and Milan will meet Red Star Belgrade, while Simen Juklerød’s Antwerp will play the Scottish Rangers.
