Norway beats Portugal in a nail-biter match (29:28)

On Wednesday, Norway beat Portugal 29:28 in the opening game of Group III of the main round of 27th IHF Men’s Handball World Championship – Egypt 2021.

The first period finished at 16:14 in Norway’s favor. Portugal failed to make a comeback in the second period, and Norway secured a victory 29:28 victory to snatch its first two points in the Main round.

Portuguese goalkeeper Humberto Gomes was named the “Player of the Match” after a superb performance during the game.

Norway will now face Algeria in the second game of Group III on Friday.

Portugal prepares to play against Switzerland on the same day.
