With Erling Braut Haaland is scoring on demand at the moment, Martin Ødegaard proposed a very simple solution for Thursday’s European Championship rematch against Serbia.

The Real Madrid player might be the playmaker who will assist Haaland at the crucial moments.

On Tuesday, Ødegaard commented on his collaboration with Haaland.

“Just pass him the ball”

“Just give him the ball. Then I reckon he’ll knock in a couple of (goals). It’s a nice job to have.”

“Is it that simple?” the journalists wanted to know.

“At least it looked like it was, lately,” Ødegaard responded.

The two enjoyed themselves training at Ullevaal on Tuesday.

Haaland is joining the team after five recent goals for Borussia Dortmund.

The player from Jæren is Serbia’s biggest nightmare.

The Serbs must be unsure of which formation is best suited for Norway.

No clear formation

According to Serbian journalists, at the team’s Tuesday training, it wasn’t clear whether Serbia will go for three or four defenders at Ullevaal Stadium.

Haaland remains a big challenge for the Serbs.

Serbia is number 31 on the FIFA rankings, while Norway is in the 44th place.

The winner of the match will meet the winner of Israel v. Scotland in the “final” of the European Championship rematch.

The match date is November 12.
