VG: Norwegian boxer Hadi Srour banned for four years after positive doping test

According to newspaper VG, the Norwegian boxer Hadi Srour has been banned for four years for violating the doping regulations.

Marit Forsnes of the Norwegian Sports Confederation confirmed the information about the decision to VG.

The verdict has not yet been published, and Forsnes did not want to comment on it further.

On September 4, 2019, it became known that the Tønsberg boxer tested positive for doping. 

At the time, the then 23-year-old Srour was part of the professional team called Team Sauerland.

Srour first got a positive A-test, and on September 13, he confirmed on his Facebook page that the B-test was also positive.
