Torin Yater-Wallace was the best in the men’s superpipe finals and took his third X Games victory. The American won in front of Alex Ferreira and Gus Kenworthy
The American gold medalist achieved less than 95 points in his second attempt. It secured him the victory in front of childhood buddy Ferreira, who received 93.33 points.
– I do not know what to say. I could not be happier. I did not expect anything close to this. The celebration is going to be unreal, Yater-Wallace said after his victory in the X-Games in Oslo last exercise.
Bronze winner Gus Kenworthy had failed in his first two attempts, but caught the third place at the last attempt.
– I could not be more pleased to do it on my last attempt, Kenworthy said.
