Air traffic is up and running again at Stavanger Airport, but travelers still have to expect delays after the fire.Travelers must check their departures, Avinor told Stavanger Aftenblad on Wednesday morning.

– “We have reviewed the airport and see that, with a review of fire and rescue categories, we can resume traffic,” says Avinor chief operating officer Morten Wathne.

There may be a shortage of both aircraft and crew as a result of the closing of the airport, Tuesday afternoon.

– This is mainly because the planes that would have taken the first morning passengers often arrive in the evening in advance, such as KLM’s route to Amsterdam. Companies thus lack both aircraft and often crew today.
